<p>It should take a couple of seconds to set up your site and publish your notes. You can choose one of the options below:</p>
<h2 id="1-publish-using-notion"><a aria-hidden="true" tabindex="-1" href="#1-publish-using-notion"><span class="icon icon-link"></span></a>1. Publish using Notion</h2>

<p>Open the Notion page you want to publish</p>

<p>Click "Share" at the top right and then "Share to web"</p>

<p>You can enable/disable other options based on your needs</p>

<p>Get the page link by clicking "Copy web link", you'll need this in the next steps<br>

<p>Create a new site, or select one of the existing sites</p>

<p>Paste the link you copied in step4 to the Notion section in the <a href="/docs/site-editor/setup" title="Mixa Site Editor">Mixa Site Editor</a>, and click Publish<br>

<p>Once the upload completes, you will see your new site directly in the Editor on the right.</p>

<p>When you change your content in Notion, they will not automatically updated on your site. Whenever your content is ready to be published, you can click "Publish" in Mixa Site Editor again.</p>

<p>If you don't know what <a href="https://obsidian.md/">Obsidian</a> is, it's one of the best note-taking apps. If you are not using it, we highly suggest trying.</p>
<p>You can use this method to publish your initial site or update your existing site directly within your Obsidian vault.</p>
<ol>
<li>Install the <a href="https://github.com/mixasite/obsidian-mixa">Mixa Obsidian plugin</a>. You can find step-by-step instruction to install the plugin <a href="/docs/quick-start/installing-mixa-obsidian-plugin" title="here">here</a></li>
<li>Go to your <a href="https://app.mixa.site/">Mixa Dashboard</a></li>
<li>Create a new site, or select one of the existing sites</li>
<li>Click the "Generate" button in <a href="/docs/site-editor/setup" title="Setup settings">Setup settings</a> in the <a href="/docs/site-editor/site-editor" title="Site Editor">Site Editor</a>. You should see your token in a second</li>
<li>Click the copy button next to your token</li>
<li>Open the settings in your Obsidian app, and find Mixa in the "community plugins" section</li>
<li>Paste the token to the "Secret Token" field</li>
<li>If it all worked, you should see some information about your site info in the settings page</li>
<li>Optionally, specify which folder to publish or leave it empty to publish everything.</li>
<li>Click "Publish" button in Obsidian Mixa Settings page</li>
<li>After setup, you can use the paper-plane icon in the sidebar to publish your changes in 1-click without going to the settings.</li>
<li>You can select your Home Page from the <a href="/docs/site-editor/navigation" title="Navigation settings">Navigation settings</a> or explore all other settings we have in the <a href="/docs/site-editor/site-editor" title="Mixa Site Editor">Mixa Site Editor</a>.</li>

<p>You can use this method to publish your initial site or update your existing site. Please make sure you always zip the full site/folder even if you just want to update a single file.</p>
